John is from Washburn, TN and graduated from Washburn High School in 2010. An avid Tennessee fan since birth, he started the All Vol Call in Show in September of 2017 following an emotionally-strenuous loss to the University of Florida. Since then, John has gone on to quickly grow in the sports media industry. Since the creation of the show, John has been the lead sports reporter for the Grainger Today, the Sports Editor for the Middlesboro Daily News, the Sports Editor for the Mountain Advocate, On-Air personality for WCTT T-107.3, On-Air personality for WKDP 99.5 KD Country, Fox Sports full-time as the co-host of "Overtime" with close friend and colleague Jake Miller, and most recently became the Sports Media Relations Director for NCAA DIv. II institution Lincoln Memorial University. He is a six-time award winning sports reporter, including "Best Sports Story" and "Best Sports Video." John's love for Tennessee runs deep, but pales in comparison to the love he has for his children. His two sons and daughter are the most valuable treasure in his life. When John isn't working he spends every waking second with his kids.
